Hawkins County area active military personnel benefit from our efforts. They receive care packages loaded with correspondence, wet wipes, socks, personal hygiene items, snacks, and other basic comfort items.

Our MISSION

The mission and goal of Project Serve Our Soldiers is to provide comfort
to Hawkins County actively serving military personnel and their families
on foreign and domestic soil through fundraising efforts and donations.
An additional goal is to help meet Hawkins County community needs
independently or in conjunction with other Hawkins County
organizations.

Items We Need for Care Packages

Personal Hygiene:

  • Toothpaste

  • Baby wipes

  • Deodorant

  • Feminine hygiene products

  • Small packages of Q Tips

  • Dry shampoo

  • Chapstick

  • Neosporin tubes

  • Travel sized lotion

  • Vaseline

  • Sunscreen

  • Band Aids

  • Shaving Cream

  • Disposable Razors

  • Bug Spray

  • Socks (white tube socks, size medium (9-11), wool or a poly-cotton blend)

  • Cotton Tee Shirts (in appropriate colors)

  • Eyeglass Cleaner

  • Fingernail clippers

  • Cloth Freshener Sprays

  • Foot and Body Powder

  • Puzzle Books

  • Travel Sized Games

  • Decks of cards

  • Phone cards

  • Ear Buds

  • Birthday and Holiday Cards (children's drawings from school or Sunday school classes mean so much)

  • Snacks that have long shelf life

  • Protein/granola bars

  • Peanut butter (individual squeeze packages)

  • Vienna sausages

  • Drink mixes to include coffee
